Stretch is a character created by The Harvey Entertainment Company debuting in the cartoon "Fright From Wrong" (1956), the leader of the Trio, Casper's uncle and older brother to Fatso and Stinkie, After his debut he made numerous appearances across different media, including Comics, Tv series and movies, he is one of the most recognizable Casper characters.


Stretch speaks with a prominent Brooklyn accent he is also known for being the most aggressive at scaring the living using possession, morphing or simply appearing. Although he acts the harshest, he is soon revealed to have a soft spot, and is perhaps the most sensible in making important decisions. In a deleted song he claims to be schizoid-paranoid, and despite his intelligence, he can be very childish at times.

Stretch was voiced by Joe Nipote in Casper and its television series, The Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper, Jim Ward in Casper: A Spirited Beginning and Casper meets Wendy and Scott McNeil in Casper's Haunted Christmas and then by Dan Castellaneta in Casper's Scare School. However, in the series, he's voiced by Matthew Geczy.
