20th Century Fox (also known as Twentieth Century Fox) is an American film studio founded in 1935, owned by the Walt Disney Company. One of the big six major American film studios, it was formed from the merger of the Fox Film Corporation and is located in the Century City area of Los Angeles.

On December 14, 2017, the Walt Disney Company announced that it is acquiring most of Fox's parent company, 21st Century Fox, including the film studio, which was approved by both companies on July 27, 2018

In the Casper franchise, it is better known for producing two direct-to-video films in the late 1990s: Casper: A Spirited Beginning (1997) and Casper Meets Wendy (1998).
